let me tell you what happened.

i hate our school.

Uh, trust me. I have friends that said in other schools, outside of Plano, they actually got to concentrate on learning the material instead of taking test after test.

Face it, Jasper just doesn't suck, PISD really does.

I mean honestly, I hate the school, and will never miss it.
The administration (cept for Grant Johnson's mom the registrar she rocks) is so bad. The principals bully, they just care about enforcing petty rules that are unimportant, and the counselours prevent me from taking APs.

What kind of school forces my friend to take an exam he should be exempt for just because he had to go to his grandmother/grandfather (yes both of them at the same time)'s funeral in China for 4 days? I mean really, is that a good school Taylor?

The teachers are not understanding. They only take their class into importance. Even my best friends who plan amazingly, still have late nights because teachers fail to give warnings in advance.

The GPA whoring is insane. It's gotten to the point where we define other people's intelligence by a number. It's so unnecessary, schools in New England that consistently outperform us have adopted better strategies.
Honestly, if it weren't for the friends I made, Jasper would have sucked.
Then again, it seems as every year passes, there seem to be more and more GPA whores.

That's okay, you guys might be able to calculate differential equations in your head, but you'll never be able to slow dance. Or to go mountain climbing. Or get a decent job, because you're going to just be a run of the mill doctor, or in a cubicle.

Plano, Jasper, it just sucks away the life from people. School shouldn't be the focal point of our existence. It should be a supplement.

As my good friend Dr. Lirot says, "I'm smarter than a number. What I do, shouldn't just be assigned a numerical value based on it's intrinsic worth. Because all in all, that's just communist; dividing everything up based on numbers, and failing to take into account human factors."

But school's a socialist institution anyways.
